HOMEBOUND is a feature documentary exploring the courageous journeys of sex-trafficking survivors as they rebuild their lives and find restoration. Through survivor testimonies, advocates, and caregivers, the film reveals human resilience and the redemptive hope of Christ.
Inspired by Wellspring Living, an Atlanta-based Christian nonprofit serving survivors for more than 25 years, HOMEBOUND highlights trauma recovery, housing, education, vocational training, and survivor-centered solutions nationwide.
The title reflects a deeper discovery of home—safety, belonging, dignity, and communion with God. Artistically, survivor testimonies are interwoven with the cinematic journey of a young girl moving from brokenness toward renewal. Unapologetically Christian yet universally relevant, HOMEBOUND invites audiences into a powerful conversation about justice, healing, and hope.
HOMEBOUND has advanced through the Angel Guild audience-selection process and received a letter of intent for distribution from Angel Studios, whose global platform has over 45 million app downloads. Its nearly 2.2 million paying Guild members help select, promote, and launch theatrical campaigns.
Angel Studios’ The Sound of Freedom grossed over $250 million worldwide, reached approximately 20 million U.S. theatergoers, and sparked widespread awareness of sex trafficking. HOMEBOUND offers the vital next chapter: while The Sound of Freedom focused on rescue, HOMEBOUND reveals survivors’ often-overlooked journeys toward healing, stability, and independence.
